In the summer of 2019 I found myself in Hong Kong viewing an anti-government uprising and wondering what happens when democracy is threatened in a world where “freedom” thought to be a thing of not.

I’ll let the images speak for themselves here. I will say that I was very blessed with the privilege in being able to travel to Hong Kong to witness something so sad, yet beautiful in how people can rally together and fight for what they believe.
